BIOGRAPHY

Hey! We're Nightjar, a Buckinghamshire-based trio who mainly play originals in a unique fusion of hard rock, goth and grunge. On the odd occasion we do covers, we try and make them feel like ours, having them fit smoothly into our setlists.

Our band members are our vocalist and bassist Alex Read, guitarist Luke Page and drummer Luc Pomfret. They became Nightjar in 2016 and have been kicking around ever since, even in the midst of whatever 2020 was. ​ Our debut EP 'Shatterclaw' was came out in 2017, it may be old but they still slap, so go take a listen if you haven't, it's still available to stream on pretty much every streaming site possible! ​

We're pretty established in our local areas and we hope we'll keep expanding our listener base even further. Our live shows are energetic and our music always feels that much more hype when you're there in the crowd, so when it's safe for shows again you can bet we'll come back swinging.

We're pretty proud to say we've played venues such as the Oxford 02 and with acts like Tony Hadley, two examples of fantastic experiences we're privileged to have been a part of.
